CELA®, CFP®, RICP®

Founder & Chief Executive Officer

My mom taught me something important…something that would frame and guide how I went through life. She said, “There are three types of people in the world: those that let things happen, those that watch things happen, and those that make things happen.” And it was clear that she wanted me to be someone that made things happen.

I took that lesson and charted one of the most unique ways to serve people in retirement – a true “one-stop shop” that can handle every from taxes to trusts and from investments to income…all under one roof, working with one team. After about ten years into being a lawyer, I realized that the right way to serve my client families was to give them all of the resources, counselling, leadership, and support. Give them everything I could give them, and everything they needed, where all they had to do was dial one phone number – and, where they could walk away from every meeting knowing that the best in life was yet to come.

You see, I realized that the true outcome of our work wasn’t in the details of our Transformation™ Plan or any of the tools that we use to create income or management investments…no, the true outcome was in knowing that the next 10-20-30 years after working together were going to be the best years of your life.

And that’s what I believe: I believe that you deserve to have the last part of your journey be the best part of your journey. And spend every day knowing that today is great, but tomorrow is going to be even better.

As for my Great Life? Well, it’s a goal that I share with my wife – my best partner – which is: I want my three sons – Aidan, Lucas, and Dylan – to tell me, sometime in their life – we have been their best coaches. mentors, and leaders. If I get that…I’ll have lived my best life.

Jay Leon, LUTCF®

Client Services Advisor

My role is to work with families already working with us to service their ongoing needs, ranging from annual renewal paperwork to processing withdrawals from their accounts, to helping them explore the best Medicare coverage for them. I serve our families daily with their ongoing services needs by working with them, & their accounts so they can be free to live their great lives.

I have become a cat aficionado in my adult life and hope to continue rescuing from shelters. I live my great life by using my legs to continue to carry me to emotional & mental freedom through jogging, despite the years making it more difficult.

Katie Johnson

Marketing Specialist

I am the sweat behind all events we do as a firm — from special client appreciation events to book launches to educational workshops, and so much more. I’m also the creative brain behind every video you see, educational emails, announcements, social media posts, and website management. I spend every day spreading our belief that everyone can, and deserves to, lead a great life in retirement.

I seek to have a profound impact on my family, especially my siblings. As the older child of many siblings, I joyfully get to share my experiences & wisdom so they can be successful. I’m also a musician and enjoy playing at my church & with my friends. I’ve even gotten to play on the radio! My great life item is to have my own studio equipment in-house one day, so I can produce music on my own.

Client Admin

I sit in the front of the office welcoming in new families and existing families alike. My last job was as the manager of a Princeton-area spa, so I’m used to making people feel great when they come and when they leave – although, I can’t promise a massage every time you come to the office.

I find joy in having a profound impact on my nephew by encouraging his love of school, and one day providing him with the knowledge and resources needed to live his very best life. I love the world of pop culture, especially movies and collects memorabilia related to it. My great life item is to one day produce my own comedy podcast as it combines two activities I love: stand-up & podcasting!

Kimberly McCloskey

Director of Operations

My job is to make sure everything we work on is running smoothly, so we can focus all our attention on you and all the families we serve. As one of the leaders of the team, I work diligently to make sure today is great, but tomorrow is even better.

I have over fifteen years of experience in the senior living/healthcare industry and am passionate about all our families! I love collecting Christmas tree ornaments from new states/countries I visit with my husband (despite being a self-proclaimed minimalist.) I know I’ll have achieved a great life if I continue doing CrossFit, have a book in my hand, and am traveling to new destinations.

Megan Bushey

Executive Assistant

I am an integral part of our team even though I’m all the way out in Michigan! As Victor’s executive assistant, I serve to free up his time to work on the vision-setting work, knowing that he’s got me to help with getting all of the details sorted out. I’m probably the person you’re talking to when you need to get onto his calendar or in scheduling our family events.

I will know that I’ve had a profound impact on my family if I’ve created memories & experiences with my children and family that will create a lasting bond. I strive to have my children look back fondly about the intentional time I spent with them. I have four cats and one of them is a munchkin with tiny legs! One way I know I’ll be living my great life is if I am able to feed my family from food we’ve grown or raised ourselves on our farm.

Edie Bruno

Paralegal & New Business Coordinator

My role is to create all of the paperwork it takes to bring new families on board, as they implement their Transformation Plan. I ensure our families have everything they need before they even need it. I spend my time serving our families with the digital and physical resources of their Transformation™ Plan.

I’m living my great life so I can have a profound impact on my children, guiding them and nurturing their ideas & dreams so they can live the great lives they deserve. I love spending time with my wonderful kids and collecting special items like Susan B. Anthony coins, Buffalo nickels, & Pez dispensers. My favorite place to be is outdoors in the warm sun, boating, swimming, or shell-seeking. My biggest great life goal is to own a cozy cottage on the water.

Bobby DeMarco

Associate Attorney & Planning Advisor

I’m one of our attorneys, as well as a member of our planning team, working to make sure all the elements of your Transformation™ Plan are in place and working for you! I meet with families to help design a way for what they own to be protected, as well as a way for them to leave a lasting legacy. My role is to be the gentle, but professional, “nag” to keep you on track to creating a retirement that’s worth living.

But, I’m not all planning – turns out, I’m a pretty big music buff and have collected over 2,400 vinyl records! Together with my wife, I’m working to build a strong, comfortable foundation to grow our family, and enjoying every moment along the way. One of my great life goals is to own a record store/bakery/coffee shop with my wife, Michelle. Who doesn’t want to sip freshly brewed coffee, snack on macarons, and listen to Paul Simon’s “Graceland” on vinyl?!

Susan Halem

Director of Business & Client Strategy

I am often the first-person people connect with at our office, as we meet to learn more about your goals, what would make a great life for you, and what steps you would need to take to know that the best is yet to come. I work with our families to put together the beginnings of a Transformation™ Plan so they can get the peace of mind that comes from knowing they’re headed in the right direction…so they can go focus on making the most of their retirement.

As a brain tumor survivor, I understand the frailty of life, and choose to live life in the moment, as today is a gift. Alongside my husband Steve, and best canine friend, Griffon, my great life item is to help preserve the beautiful Neshaminy Creek and surrounding land as a resident of the area.
